Why we check your age, what AgeVerif does, and the minimum we keep.
Why we verify age The Spice Lounge is an adults-only service. Before you can enter the prompt studio or buy credits, we need to confirm that you are 18 or older.
How the check works Age verification is handled by AgeVerif, an independent age verification provider. When you press "Verify with AgeVerif", you are taken to AgeVerif to complete their check in a secure window. AgeVerif decides which method to offer based on your region.
What we store When the check finishes we store only: - the result: verified or not verified - the date of the check and any expiry date AgeVerif returns - a single provider reference so we can recognise your verification if you return
What we never store We do not receive or store identity documents, selfies, photos, or your date of birth. AgeVerif holds the evidence for the check; we only receive the outcome.
If verification fails or expires If a check is not successful, the studio stays locked and no credits are used. You can start the check again at any time. If your verification expires, you will be asked to verify again before generating.
If verification is not available Age verification must be connected and switched on by the site operator. While it is not configured, the studio and credit purchases remain locked — we never simulate a successful verification.
